Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address, display name, and authentication details provided when you sign up.
• Content you upload: screenshots, photos, saved links, notes, and any other materials you choose to stash.
• Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and error logs used to improve the Service.
• Payment information: handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To organize and categorize the content you upload using AI analysis;
• To process subscriptions and send billing-related notices;
• To respond to support requests and send service updates.

3. AI processing

StashTab uses Google AI (Gemini) to analyze uploaded images and links so we can suggest folders, titles, tags, and step-by-step guides. Content is sent to Google’s API for processing. We do not use your content to train public AI models.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your data is stored through Lovable Cloud, which is built on Supabase. Files are kept in secure cloud storage with row-level access controls, meaning your content is only accessible to you and to our systems as needed to run the Service.

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit. No storage system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to operate the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Lovable Cloud / Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
• Google AI (Gemini) — content analysis and extraction

These providers have their own privacy policies and security practices.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your content for as long as your account is active. If you delete an item, it is soft-deleted and may be retained for a limited period to allow undo or recovery. When you delete your account, your personal data and uploaded content are permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to keep records by law.

7. Your choices

• You can access, edit, or delete your stashes from inside the app.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time.
• You can request account deletion by contacting us.

8. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date.
